01

Product Transparency & Safety

RP Aesthetics products are cosmetic products designed to support the appearance, feel and condition of the skin. They are intended for external cosmetic use only and should always be used in line with the directions shown on the product page, packaging and any accompanying product information.

We aim to provide clear product information so customers can make informed choices before purchasing or using a product. This includes product directions, key ingredient information, full ingredient lists where available, warnings, storage guidance and suitability notes.

Important: Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, are under medical care, or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Visible product information

Product pages include usage guidance, warnings and ingredient information where supplied by the manufacturer.

Safety-first approach

Customers are encouraged to patch test before first use and stop use if irritation occurs.

Traceability support

Where relevant, batch code and order details may be requested to support product queries.

02

Ingredients & Allergens

Ingredient information is provided to help customers review product suitability before use. Cosmetic ingredients are usually listed using their INCI names, which are the standard ingredient names used across cosmetic products.

Customers should always review the full ingredient list before use, especially if they have known sensitivities, allergies, reactive skin, or have previously experienced irritation from cosmetic products.

Before using a product

  • Check the full ingredient list.
  • Avoid products containing ingredients you know you are sensitive or allergic to.
  • Patch test before first use.
  • Introduce new skincare gradually.

Allergen note

Some cosmetic products may contain fragrance, botanical extracts, preservatives, actives or other ingredients that may not suit every skin type. Suitability can vary by person.

Formula changes: Product formulas, packaging or ingredient lists may occasionally be updated. Always refer to the product packaging and current product page before use.
03

Patch Testing Guide

We recommend patch testing before using any new skincare or cosmetic product, especially if you have sensitive skin, reactive skin, or are introducing active-led products into your routine.

Step 01

Apply a small amount

Apply a small amount of product to a discreet area such as the inner arm or behind the ear.

Step 02

Wait and observe

Leave the product on the area and monitor your skin for up to 24 hours, unless the product directions state otherwise.

Step 03

Check for irritation

Look for redness, itching, burning, swelling, rash, discomfort or unusual sensitivity.

Step 04

Use only if suitable

If no irritation occurs, use as directed. If irritation occurs, rinse, stop use and contact us if needed.

Patch testing does not guarantee suitability. Skin tolerance can change over time and reactions can still occur after repeated use.
04

Adverse Reaction Reporting

If you experience irritation or an unwanted reaction, stop using the product immediately. Rinse the affected area with water and avoid applying additional active products until your skin has settled.

Please contact customer care so we can record your report and support you appropriately. Cosmetic businesses and Responsible Persons must record adverse effects and report serious undesirable effects where required.

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your full name and order number.
  • Product name and product size.
  • Batch code, if available.
  • Date purchased and date first used.
  • Where the product was applied.
  • Description of the reaction.
  • Photos, if you are comfortable providing them.
  • Any known allergies or relevant skincare products used at the same time.
Urgent advice: If you experience severe swelling, breathing difficulty, blistering, eye involvement, intense pain or symptoms that concern you, seek urgent medical advice.
05

Storage & Shelf Life

Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Always close lids, caps and pumps securely after use.

Storage guidance

  • Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • Do not store in very humid areas where possible.
  • Keep containers closed when not in use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

PAO / expiry

The Period After Opening symbol, often shown as 6M, 12M or 24M, indicates how long the product should be used after opening. Where an expiry date is provided, follow the expiry date shown on the packaging.

Do not use a product if it has changed significantly in smell, colour, texture or appearance, or if the packaging appears damaged or contaminated.
06
